Seven organizations from Burundi and three from Baden-Württemberg receive funding from the Baden-Württemberg Development Cooperation Foundation (SEZ) with funds from the state of Baden-Württemberg.
The funding volume is around 180.000 euros, which is the same as last year. The SEZ received 35 funding applications.
Partnership projects in development cooperation that were created on the initiative of the partners are supported. The aim is to strengthen the commitment, partnerships and networking of the actors in Baden-Württemberg and Burundi as well as between the two countries.
With the resources available! Burundi supports projects that serve food security, support income-generating measures or contribute to peacebuilding. Other important aspects include the promotion of women and partnerships. These focal points clearly reflect the goals of the funded projects.
