Try fairly traded coffee from Burundi, learn about sustainable fashion by upcycling old jeans, listen to a reading by Tete Loeper and help shape the country's development policy guidelines - all of this is possible at the Fair Trade 2022 trade fair. Tickets and the attractive supporting program are now available online.
At Fair Handel, over 80 exhibitors will show trends and innovations relating to fair trade and conscious consumption from the areas of development cooperation and global partnerships, sustainable finance and tourism as well as future fashion and future fashion made in Africa. There are numerous activities at the stands that invite you to take part or try them out. In the special area of Future Fashion you can give worn fashion a new shine in the upcycling workshop, get to know fashion designers in the Future Fashion Made In Africa Corner or have a cup of fairly traded partnership coffee at the Burundi Competence Center stand at the Burundi-Baden-Württemberg quiz enjoy. The Mindchangers offer opportunities for young people to participate in rethinking migration and climate change. An attractive cultural supporting program with readings, talks and more invites you to take part, watch and listen.
On April 23, 2022, those interested in development policy will meet with politicians and representatives of the Baden-Württemberg state government at the State Development Policy Conference x Mindchangers Summit. The event is about putting young people's issues on the development policy agenda, discussing them with politicians and networking with like-minded people. Mindchangers is a European Union project aimed at young people and encouraging rethinking of issues such as global justice, climate change and migration.
The international trade and consumer trade fair Fair Trade with a focus on fair trade and globally responsible action is a sales platform and at the same time an information and contact exchange for the industry, for the media, for decision-makers and consumers. The Baden-Württemberg Development Cooperation Foundation (SEZ) organizes Fair Trade together with Messe Stuttgart as part of the spring trade fairs. The SEZ is the technical and intellectual sponsor of the event.
