On the opening day of Fair Handeln, a very special evening took place with the friends and supporters of the SEZ.
A select group of guests stayed at the Deep Talk with Dr. Siyabulela Mandela at the Fair Handeln trade fair The conversation between Philipp Keil, Executive Director of the SEZ, and Dr. Siyabulela Mandela, peace and human rights activist and independent consultant in the fields of human rights, international development, and conflict resolution, set a precedent. Not only in terms of content, but also in terms of atmosphere, those present were able to experience the power of social justice and solidarity.
It's a tradition that Fair Handeln – the international trade fair for a fair and sustainable life – is the ideal venue for this. As the oldest platform of its kind, it offers committed consumers and trade professionals a unique opportunity to network, gain further education, and give development policy issues a visible platform.
With formats like Deep Talk, the SEZ deliberately creates spaces for encounters, exchange, and inspiration. This transforms the trade fair not just into a presentation platform, but into a lively place for dialogue and the collaborative creation of a fairer future.
