After Stuttgart, Ulm is the second city in Baden-Württemberg where there are now regular tours on sustainable fashion.
The first tour started in Ulm's fishing district in November. The two city guides Anna and Olga informed the group about the topics of fair fashion, vegan clothing, sustainable outdoor clothing and second-hand clothing during a tour of the old town. The repair of old clothes and shoes was also part of the program.
The shops where the group got information on their Future Fashion Tour were Fischerins Kleid, VAUDE and Secontique, the Ulm second-hand shop of Aktion Hope.
The Youth Initiative of the Baden-Württemberg Sustainability Strategy is responsible for the Future Fashion tours in collaboration with Future Fashion. Future Fashion is the new movement for sustainable textiles and conscious consumer behavior from the Baden-Württemberg Development Cooperation Foundation (SEZ).
The next Future Fashion tour in Ulm will take place on December 5th, 2019.
