Global learning opens learning spaces: transformative, constructively critical (of power), and focused on collective action. The interfaces with democracy education are extensive. In this workshop, we will test group-dynamic, experiential exercises from the Betzavta approach (a democracy education method) and reflect on them for our practice in global learning, global citizenship education, and ESD. The exercises raise awareness of co-determination, social participation, and decision-making. They support all participants in seeking ways beyond polarizing solutions that can truly satisfy everyone. All interested parties from educational work are invited.
Speaker: Johanna Neuffer, Betzavta trainer, education consultant for global learning and ESD
Venue: Global Classroom at Welthaus Stuttgart, Charlottenplatz 17, 70173 Stuttgart
Participation is free of charge.
