Are you from Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg and have always wanted to learn something about how development policy works? Then you have come to the right place.
With the dialogue workshop, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is engaging in dialogue with interested citizens, this year also in your region. As part of the dialogue workshop, the goals, tasks and practical implementation of German development policy and development cooperation will be discussed with you. The BMZ shows what the Federal Government's global commitment to combating poverty and hunger, to better health and an intact environment looks like. And explains how this contributes to securing peace and democracy in the partner countries, not only there, but also here, in Europe and in Germany.
Of course, your questions should also be heard and discussed with you, because development policy concerns us all and is not just a matter for experts.
The results from the dialogue workshop will be bundled and incorporated into the updating of the ministry’s strategies.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Access to the House of Encounter is barrier-free and sign language interpreters are available if required. Refreshments and food will be provided.
