This year's municipal expert forum organized by the Association of Baden-Württemberg Cities and the Baden-Württemberg Development Cooperation Foundation focuses on the upcoming local elections and their importance for global partnerships. In light of the increasing polarization of political and social discourse, narratives critical of partnerships are gaining strength. The focus of the municipal expert forum is therefore the question: How can and must global partnerships be argued in the local political context in order to continue to exist in the future?
