Democratic solidarity, the courage to change and diverse commitment - these are essential foundations for shaping a sustainable society. In times of multiple crises, however, these elements are put to the test. We want to discuss together at the RENN.süd Forum 2024 how we can succeed in strengthening social cohesion, especially in these times.

What role does social cohesion play in a successful social-ecological transformation? How can politics, business, municipalities, science, culture, civil society and others work better together to strengthen social cohesion? Which instruments and methods can support this? What role do communication and media play? And which narratives can strengthen social cohesion?

We want to address these and other questions and, based on them, develop ways in which we as a society can be strengthened and resilient in actively shaping a sustainable and livable future.

Once a year, the RENN.süd Forum offers a cross-state exchange of experiences for representatives from politics, administration, civil society, business, municipalities and science who advance sustainability concerns in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. Actors can make their commitment to sustainability visible, recognize commonalities, receive new impulses and strengthen existing networks and associations. The program is diverse: In addition to technical input and various opportunities for participation, there is space for discussion, encounters and networking.
