Virtual event series – “Connecting Futures – Global Youth Partnerships for Change”

Are you concerned about global challenges such as the climate crisis and the sustainable design of our future? Are you active in projects and would like to network with other young people from different countries? Do you want to develop visions and concrete ideas for a sustainable world together and exchange ideas in an international setting?

Then you are welcome to Kick-off event of our virtual exchange series “Connecting Futures – Global Youth Partnerships for Change” on July 2, 2024 from 17.30 p.m. to 20 p.m. (CET) invited.

Our exchange series offers you the unique opportunity to enter into dialogue with like-minded people from different countries and to find out which issues are of interest to young people around the world. You will have the opportunity to present your own projects, learn from the experiences of others and develop ideas for future initiatives together.

The event on July 2nd is the start of a virtual dialogue platform that aims to connect young people around the world in the areas of climate justice, global justice and solidarity. At this first meeting, we want to get to know each other and exchange ideas about the issues that concern us, the challenges we see, and together develop ideas for the further formats of the exchange series!

Many things are possible, e.g.

  • Inspiring keynotes from young activists from around the world
  • Networking sessions to make new contacts and find potential cooperation partners
  • Peer-to-peer consulting where you can present each other’s projects (ideas) and learn from other people’s experiences
  • Discussion groups in which we discuss global challenges and solutions together

You can have a say and make decisions – the platform thrives on dialogue and is actively shaped by you! Join us on July 2nd from 17.30 p.m. to 20 p.m. (CET).

Would you like to help plan and think about the content and concepts of the exchange series and the kick-off event? Then come along to the preparatory meeting on June 17th from 17 p.m. to 18.30:XNUMX p.m. Let us know if you would like to attend and we will send you the link for the meeting in good time beforehand.

The exchange series is organized by the Young Engagement Baden-Württemberg network in cooperation with the Burundi Competence Center of the Baden-Württemberg Development Cooperation Foundation (SEZ) and the “Youth Meets Politics” project at the Baden-Württemberg Development Policy Association (DEAB).
