On July 30, 2025, the Baden-Württemberg Development Policy Association (DEAB) invites young people to Hohenneuffen Castle. Together with politicians, they will discuss key questions:
How can Baden-Württemberg actively shape climate justice, global responsibility, democracy and social cohesion in the next legislative period?
What political levers are needed to ensure social cohesion and stop polarization?
And: How do we bring young perspectives into politics — not at some point in the future, but now?
Among others, there are:
State Secretary Gisela Splett (Alliance 90/The Greens),
Cem Özdemir (Alliance 90/The Greens), candidate for the office of Prime Minister,
Andreas Stoch (SPD), parliamentary group leader in the state parliament,
Raimund Haser (CDU), deputy parliamentary group leader in the state parliament.
What are you expecting?
The heart of the event is an interactive political exit game.
In small teams – consisting of young people, politiciansand representativeswithin civil society – concrete political challenges are addressed.
The teams go through four stations with the following topics:
Klimagerechtigkeit
Gerechte Weltwirtschaft und Rohstoffgerechtigkeit
Demokratie unter Druck
Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung
At each station, the groups solve tasks, weigh decisions, and develop political demands. Only those who master the task at one station advance to the next challenge. This makes politics tangible and immersive—rather than abstract.
The developed demands are then presented in a fishbowl discussion, where the young people discuss their results openly and directly with the politicians present.
The event will be accompanied by a future chatbot: During and after the event, all participants can digitally submit their messages, demands, and ideas. The politicians will then receive a personal QR code that will allow them to access the collected voices of the younger generation even after the event.
