The school management and the community of Gonsin approached our local project partner AMZ, with whom we have already built several schools in Gonsin, to organize an aid project that: 1. Improves the nutritional situation during the annual dry season. 2. Familiarize the young people at the school center with modern agriculture and drip irrigation. 3. Show local farmers about ecologically sustainable agriculture and get them excited about it. Our test facility at our dam in Komki-lpala was exemplary, where maximum yield of vegetables and other foods was achieved with low water consumption through a solar drip irrigation system. To do this, the necessary equipment must be purchased here or in Burkina Faso and transported to Gonsin.
