EDUCATION ON COVID-19 VACCINATION IN CAMPS FOR INTERNALLY DISPLACED PEOPLE

This project to promote willingness to vaccinate is aimed primarily at Yazidi, internally displaced people in the refugee camps of Dohuk province.
The aim is to contain the further spread of COVID-19 in the camps by increasing the previously extremely low vaccination rates. For this purpose, local people are informed in a personal conversation and explained about existing vaccination options.
In the course of their work, the employees will also train some committed residents of the camps in order to further increase the reach, strengthen trust and actively involve the community itself in the educational process.
The project meets an urgent need; The number of infections in the camps is currently rising sharply, but at the same time there is a lot of ignorance and great reservations about vaccinations.
