TRAINING VEGETABLE GARDENS: LESS WATER - MORE HARVEST - MORE INCOME

Training of 30 vegetable gardeners in the drip irrigation method including the necessary investments (hoses, solar pumps, fences). Goal: Extend the cultivation season by 3 months - improve the income and living conditions of 30 families. The gardeners each have a plot of 300 square meters for growing vegetables and 10 wells for irrigation, which are fed by the rain retention basin. With conventional irrigation (bucket), the water lasts from the beginning of the rainy season until around February. With drip irrigation you save about half the water, so it will last about 3 months longer. This means an additional harvest: 3 harvests instead of 2!
