Uganda-Hilfe Unterland eV has been supporting the St. Monica Junior School in Kasanje, Uganda since 2012.
At that time, the school had just 23 students.
In the meantime, with grants from SEZ bwirkung! Ausland, we have built over 1.000 m² of classrooms and increased the number of students to over 300.
To this day, the daily school meals for now over 300 students are prepared in a wooden hut measuring 3 x 3 m on two open fires.
Apart from fire protection, this is no longer possible with this number of students.
We would like to build a new, brick-built kitchen and furnish it according to today's standards (typical for the country).
