SUPPORTING 30 YOUNG WOMEN HEADING HOUSEHOLDS FOR RESILIENCE IN THEIR FAMILIES

The project aims to support 30 girls from poor and vulnerable households who are unable to care for their siblings by joining together in savings and credit associations to work in groups and find sustainable livelihoods. This support will focus on small income-generating activities. The focus activities begin with a mini-survey in the church base communities (CEB), followed by capacity building in various topic areas. We (Savings and Loan Groups) will also give them opportunities by giving them the opportunity to connect with the MFIs (Microfinance Institutions) so that they can borrow and repay as much as they want over time.
