Invitation of a trombone choir of 8 people from the black Lutheran church in Namibia, mostly descendants of the Nama and Herero who suffered under German colonial rule. Through family encounters and public events for all Baden-Württemberg residents in parishes in Markgräflerland and Hochrhein, awareness of colonial history is to be raised. Our development awareness-raising supports the state government's efforts to come to terms with the German colonial era in Namibia. The guests from Namibia should experience community and signs of reconciliation. This experience will radiate into church life in Namibia and promote coexistence between the various ethnic groups, especially those of German descent.
