COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT SIABUWA (RELIABLE WATER SUPPLY THROUGH SOLAR POWERED WELL PUMPS)

Establishing a reliable water supply through deeper wells with solar-powered pumps is a project of the Kujwe Development Trust (KDT), a self-help association of former students (alumni) of Siabuwa Secondary School. Their goal is to develop their region. By equipping drilled wells with these pumps, the population, schools and clinics in the vicinity of a well can be supplied with clean water regardless of resources such as fuel and means of transport. Our association would like to support the constant water supply and ensure the long-term maintenance and servicing of the pumps and photovoltaic systems. That is why we plan to finance the solar-powered pumps and the further training of two school graduates from the Green Solar Academy Harare.
