The project strengthens the digital skills of residents of rural, structurally disadvantaged regions of Nicaragua through practice-oriented workshops. Free training in small groups teaches basic digital skills such as media literacy, the critical use of AI tools and digital budget planning.
The aim is to build digital skills suitable for everyday use in order to improve participation in the education system, increase individual economic opportunities and reduce social inequalities. In the long term, digital inequalities between regions, genders and social groups are to be reduced, poverty alleviated and sustainable sources of income created.
