HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NEGUELA

Through the project, families receive information about topics such as family planning, child abuse, genital mutilation and child marriage as well as environmental protection. Furthermore, reforestation and income-generating measures are important. The project affects 10 villages with around 6.500 people. The information events and training courses are carried out by our specialized Malian partner AMDD. Objective: unwanted pregnancies, GBV and child marriages decrease by 20%, family planning is socially recognized and practiced by 30% of people, at least two villages agree to abandon genital mutilation. 10 microcredit groups have been established. Reforestation with 600 young plants has taken place
