GREENHOUSES FOR FOOD SECURITY THROUGH VEGETABLE CULTIVATION

Through various projects, Filipino grassroots organizations in rural areas are motivated and empowered to plant vegetables to improve family nutrition and generate income. In addition, another project aims to convince young people that efficient agriculture can be an option for their future. Due to climate change, the rains have recently been so heavy that the plantations are repeatedly being destroyed. They are also severely affected by flying insects. To remedy this, this project aims to build and plant 3 greenhouses at different locations in Negros Oriental Province. In addition, fertilization should be carried out organically while avoiding insecticides.
