GOODVISIONGLASSES E.V.

Locations: Banjul, Medina, Essau
We, the Gambiahilfe Hohenlohe eV association, based in Öhringen, would like to provide children in Gambia with glasses free of charge in order to compensate for possible visual impairment and to give these children better access to education. The ophthalmologist Dr. Abba Hydara, head of the Sheikh Zayed Regional Eye Care Center eye clinic in Gambia, will carry out professional eye tests (including using matching strips and eye charts) on the children with his (mobile) team at schools and kindergartens. With the glasses construction kit from GoodVisionGlasses, the right glasses for the child are assembled and handed over immediately. The cost for 2 starter packages totals €3.000 (contents of each starter package: 500 frames and 1.200 lenses). Each additional pair of glasses costs €2,50.
