HELPING PEOPLE HELP THEMSELVES! – ESTABLISHMENT OF A COOPERATIVE IN MAM RASHAN

The project aims to utilize the agricultural potential of the refugees in the Mam Rashan camp. Many people who live in the camp have an agricultural background and therefore have increased skills in agriculture and agriculture.

The establishment of a cooperative should enable families to use their skills to produce agricultural products and then sell them on the planned marketplace. For this purpose, an additional 15 houses are to be built and connected to the six greenhouses that currently exist. In addition, a market hall is to be built in which the products can be sold directly to the local population.

This is intended to enable refugees to lead a self-sufficient life again and no longer be dependent on humanitarian first aid.
