IN BOLIVIA, ANOTHER 50 POOR FARMING FAMILIES HAVE SOLAR LIGHTS ON

In Bolivia there are still many people who live without electricity, in a country where in many places the annual solar radiation is twice as high as ours. This is also the case in the municipality of Independencia, where we and our project partner CCA want to build a small photovoltaic system for 300 extremely poor and remote farming families. The modules come from a gift from Germany. The remaining components (battery, cable, cell phone connection, etc.) are purchased in Bolivia. When the application was submitted, young indigenous men who were trained as solar fitters by the CCA at the expense of Inti Ayllus had already built 153 of these systems for the CCA. They are expected to build 50 more of the remaining systems as part of this project in less than two months.
