MAMA AFRICA: MOVE & GROOVE YOUR MIND

The focus is on development policy education work on West Africa, including for people from less educated backgrounds. There are 3 group offers (African dance and drumming, Ataya tea ritual) in the socio-cultural district center Schwer(s)Los!, led by African artists and attended by refugees from Africa and other citizens. Afterwards, Ataya takes place to get to know each other and exchange experiences, especially about the living conditions in West Africa, causes of flight, etc. From this, development policy issues are developed, which are deepened and discussed together in quarterly events with speakers. During the project period, several performances will take place and reach a larger audience.
