BASIC MEDICAL CARE FOR VULNERABLE GROUPS

(Improved) access to basic health care for street children and other vulnerable groups in the slums of Kisumu in Kenya. The project combines SDG 3 (good health and well-being) with SDG 1 (end poverty) by providing young people affected by subsistence poverty with access to basic medical care. Measures: 1. Equipping the medical outpatient clinic with equipment for diagnostic tests and clinical examinations ( e.g. malaria, HIV and typhoid tests). 2. The purchase of medical supplies (medications and personal protective equipment). 3. Medical advice for psychosocial support on issues such as HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health and rights and other current health issues.
