CELEBRATING SUSTAINABILITY: THE 2030 AGENDA AT A MUNICIPAL CITY FESTIVAL

Education for sustainable development should reach the broadest sections of the population and make a lasting contribution to achieving the sustainability goals. But many people have not yet been reached by development policy offers. The aim of the project is therefore to develop innovative educational methods for a city festival in a participatory manner with local initiatives and the city organizing committee. These are intended to inform city festival visitors about topics of the 2030 Agenda in an entertaining and low-threshold way using the method of casual learning “in passing” and to motivate them to take their own action. In the spirit of the 2030 Agenda, sustainability should be addressed comprehensively in all dimensions.
