PROTEIN-RICH DIET FOR FAMILIES THROUGH SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE

Around 100 families in the Kasese district receive training in the appropriate keeping and rearing of fish (sustainable aquaculture). Before that, they receive professional support in setting up fish ponds. The aim is to enable the villagers to take better care of themselves, become more independent and ensure a valuable, protein-rich diet.
