PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT TO IMPROVE THE MOTHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIP IN UNINTENDED PREGNANT WOMEN

Unintended pregnancies in early adulthood often result in those affected being rejected by society, often leading to psychological problems, increased suicidality, and an increased risk of infanticide. In addition to a lack of sexual education, sexual assaults also play a crucial role. The present project therefore aims to reduce stigmatization and exclusion of the girls affected, to improve their mental health and to promote better family and social cohesion. Furthermore, the project aims to impart adequate parenting techniques and should enable the young mothers to be reintegrated into school or work in order to reduce long-term psychosocial stressors.
