SOLAR TRAINING FOR FREELANCER SOLAR INSTALLERS (FREELANCERS)

The training offer is aimed specifically at freelancers who offer solar installations on their own in rural regions of Uganda. The concept was initiated by Sendea, a Ugandan cooperative of local solar companies. These freelancers usually have little knowledge of solar technology. You can therefore neither inform customers professionally nor carry out a clean solar installation. The consequences are: incorrect dimensioning of the solar system, incorrect installation, inadequate after-sales service. The SENDEA Academy freelancer program would like to change this through a two-week basic training course specifically for freelancers. A first pilot course in March 2021 showed great demand among freelancers.
