SOCIO-ECONOMIC REINTEGRATION OF PRISONERS IN THE CENTRAL WOMEN'S PRISON OF NGOZI

The project for the socio-economic reintegration of imprisoned women in the central women's prison of Ngozi concerns integration and training in promising professions and has as its main objective: “Strengthening the social cohesion of imprisoned women in order to prepare them for socio-economic reintegration after their release”. The project aims to create income-generating activities and strengthen the social cohesion of women with their families of origin. It was observed that most of the women imprisoned in this prison were abandoned by their relatives and especially their husbands and families when the imprisoned person (daughter) was still celibate.
