STRENGTHENING BASIC HEALTH CARE IN NORTHERN GHANA

A major contribution to improving rural health services in times of COVID will be through the upgrading of two district clinics with a standardized and basic water and energy system: 2 clinics in Northern Ghana i.e. Pong Tamale and Mion will be able to provide improved health services for to offer the respective district population. These 2 clinics will be equipped with a solar system, a rainwater tank and touch-free handwashing facilities. The results will be widely communicated so that other district clinics take notice and find possible funding to expand their services similar to these model clinics.
