STRENGTHENING THE ECONOMIC SKILLS OF SINGLE MOTHERS OF GATUNGURU THROUGH THE PRODUCTION OF JUICES

The project aims to mentor 40 young girl mothers in Gatunguru, Bujumbura Rural, by strengthening household heads' skills in fruit juice production. The beneficiaries receive access to an interest-free small loan per cycle. Activities include savings and loans. The project aims to build capacity to produce fruit juice for 40 girls who manage households. The main activities carried out are training in SILC/AVEC and marketing. The aim of the project is to empower heads of households and educate girls about the consequences of unwanted pregnancies. Beneficiaries will be trained in SIL/AVEC, marketing, reproductive health and entrepreneurship.
