The “Listen, Connect, Act!” project Südnordfunk promotes multi-perspective perspectives on development policy issues, among the radio editors and young adults involved, as well as among the listeners. Listen: A podcast series and magazine show is broadcast once a month by at least 12 independent radio stations. This increases the audibility of voices from the Global South, refugees, migrants and media-savvy young adults. An interested public and multipliers of development policy education work can access a growing range of development policy audio contributions digitally on demand. Connect: Several radio editorial teams from independent radio stations from Baden-Württemberg and beyond are networking to strengthen their development and south-north policy content with the long-term goal of regular, jointly created development policy reports. Magazine show Südnordfunk. Act: The “Listen, Connect, Act!” project supports young adults in media-activist communication on development policy content. It strengthens their media skills through self-organized, partly guided learning processes in a transcultural environment.
