TUGIR’UBUNTU – WORKSHOP FOR KAMUNA

It concerns the construction of two workshops in the area around the municipality of Cankuzo in Burundi. The workshops, one for sustainable construction and the other for food processing and preservation, will be part of the Kamuna Rehabilitation Center, a place of care for young hard drug users in Bujumbura, currently run by the A.LU.MA-Burundi organization in psychosocial center Saint François d'Assise. The aim of the project is to be able to accompany the medical path of detoxification with the teaching of new skills by offering physical activities that allow patients to have a concrete goal and to feel part of a community. The final goal is theirs Reintegration into society.
