ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND REFORESTATION FOR STUDENTS, PARENTS AND TEACHERS

The project highlights the importance of environmental protection and reforestation in Mali. It imparts knowledge to children, young people and adults on how to deal sustainably with nature and the environment. Over 1000 direct beneficiaries learn how their behavior impacts climate change. You will learn methods of how renewable resources can be restored and how they can be protected in the long term. To this end, training courses on tree planting and soil improvement are taking place in five villages: school and adult clubs are being formed. Their participants are trained to become multipliers in environmental protection measures. Two wells will be drilled and will provide drinking water for students, teachers and residents as well as for the newly created demonstration field.
Locations: Kalaya, Samantomo, Néguelaba, Siranikoro and Koulikoroni
