SUPPORT TO STRENGTHEN FOOD SECURITY IN MPANDA MUNICIPALITY

The main action of this project aims at the food security of the poorest households in Mpanda municipality in Bubanza province and is based on a close connection between agriculture (kitchen garden), fish farming (fish farming), rabbit farming (rabbit farming) and nutrition (consumption of these products in families) . This action will take into account the four pillars of food security: availability, access (easy and quick), quality of food (organic) and regularity. This project will support the households of these vulnerable women through the consumption and sale of products (chickens, rabbits, eggs and vegetable products) as an income-generating measure to meet other local needs.
