Supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnee communities through livelihoods

Our project, "Supporting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Returnee Communities through Livelihoods," will train 50 women and girls in business management and provide 15 beneficiaries with small business start-up grants to promote financial independence and family support. The project will also include much-needed psychosocial activities for 50 women and girls to help them learn, heal, and overcome trauma. To ensure program impact, we will provide awareness-raising activities for 350 IDPs and returnees, addressing topics such as gender-based violence, early marriage, financial violence, and the importance of women's entrepreneurship. The project will be implemented in Al-Hamdaniya district to reach IDPs and returnees in non-camp settings where support is scarce and needs are particularly high.
