Over the last 7 years, many measures have been implemented around the primary school in Goumsin, a rural region of Burkina Faso, which create synergies with one another and show excellent results. In 2015 the success rate for completing primary school was 40%, in 2021 it was 87%. The ownership of the population and the motivation for further projects is very high. Now the whole thing suffers from a structural weakness: the teaching staff does not have decent housing options locally and therefore lives far away or moves often. The project aims to meet this challenge and create basic conditions so that better education and extracurricular projects in the area of environmental awareness are made possible.
