The German Institute for Medical Mission e. V. (Difäm) has been promoting health care in economically poor countries and regions for over 100 years, especially for disadvantaged, vulnerable and needy people. Since 1978, ChildFund Deutschland e.V. has been committed to helping disadvantaged children and families worldwide and improving their future prospects. The vision: a world in which children are protected in their rights, develop healthily and can develop freely. The children's aid organization supports development cooperation projects that help overcome poverty and exclusion. It is committed to helping people help themselves and empowering people to improve their lives through their own efforts. Project funding covers the areas of nutrition, education, health, income, the promotion of women, child protection and emergency aid. Since 1995, the association has been the recipient of the donation seal of the German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI) in Berlin. He is a member of the ChildFund Alliance, an international association of children's charities that are collectively active in over 60 countries.
School education for approximately 400 children with intellectual disabilities that meets their specific individual needs. We see our mission, in the spirit of our order's founders Vinzenz von Paul and Luise von Marillac, as support and accompaniment for people who, for a variety of reasons, cannot overcome the challenges of their lives alone - regardless of which country they live in and which culture they come from. The sisters in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Germany are primarily involved in the areas of health, education and upbringing. The community in Untermarchtal is in close contact with the sisters in Tanzania and Ethiopia. It's about more than organizational and financial support. It's about exchange between communities and cultures and about encounters and dialogue. This exchange is also promoted as part of a voluntary service.
