The organization implements innovative development projects in crisis and conflict areas to empower people, especially indigenous peoples, to fulfill their rights and live self-determinedly in dignity and peace. Our projects combine the social, ecological and economic dimensions of sustainability with the protection of tropical forests and biodiversity.

The effata world shop sells fair trade products from all major fair trade houses as well as environmental protection paper made from 100% recycled paper. Above all, it sees itself as a contact point for around 100 action groups from Obrigheim to the Palatinate, from Karlsruhe to Laudenbach, who can shop in the effata world shop.
