The aim of the project is to empower disadvantaged women in Nicaragua through targeted education about the female body and its health. The project aims to provide women in rural areas with free workshops on women's health and cover relevant topics such as family planning, pregnancy and breastfeeding, gynecological problems, menopause and dealing with sexual violence. We not only want to give women the necessary knowledge about their own bodies, information about their rights and possible contact points, but also create space to network, exchange ideas and strengthen each other.
In this way, we want to promote women's health and self-esteem and contribute to greater equality in the long term.

The north of Nicaragua is threatened by climate change. The population, which often lives in absolute poverty, depends almost entirely on agriculture. The increasing heavy rain and irregular rainfall is destroying yields, infrastructure and agricultural land. Other major challenges include the loss of biodiversity and the burning of waste. The project supports a local NGO in expanding a center for education and training on climate and the environment. The center will sensitize the population through radio, schools, local promoters and targeted training regarding adaptation to climate change, conservation of biological diversity and better waste management and enable them to change their behavior.
By selling products through fair trade, we enable people from economically disadvantaged countries to improve their living and working conditions. Our basis is the family idea of Padre Wasson, who founded an international family for thousands of orphans in Latin America. The children are like sisters and brothers to each other. With our foundation we will: 1. Preserve the history and continue the philosophy of this international family for vulnerable children. In other words, working with educators and other experts to find out how communities still function lovingly today. 2. To provide direct and unbureaucratic support to children and adults in emergency situations, to help with their education or medical care. In memory of the specific work of Padre Wasson, for example, we are currently providing earthquake relief in Haiti and are giving the first scholarships. 3. Building an alumni network for former orphans who feel particularly connected to Padre Wasson's work.

The Initiative EINE WELT Köngen e.V. association draws attention to the situation of disadvantaged people in the poor regions of the world through information and public relations work. Herrnhuter Missionshilfe (HMH) supports young churches with which historically special relationships have developed in their missionary efforts and their social work, especially in the areas of health and education/training.
