The non-profit association organizes educational, information and cultural events in Germany, at which it would like to present the various African cultures and shed light on socially critical problems. Solutions to combat the causes of flight are discussed in panel discussions, as is the current racism against black people in Germany. In its foreign projects, the association has focused primarily on projects in Senegal and Mali. The focus here is on improving the living conditions of women, children and young people.

As part of the “Perspectives for Women in Bekhar” project, the environmental and training center is to be supported in building and setting up a sewing workshop. Since 2018, young women have been able to complete a two-year training course to become tailors locally. However, employment prospects in the region are inadequate and the environmental and training center continues to rely on financial support. The aim of building a sewing workshop is to offer the women employment prospects after completing their training, as well as to enable the environmental and training center to take a step towards financial independence with the income from commissioned work and sales in the region and to visitors .

The women of the village of Dakhar Mbaaye have joined forces to form the economic interest group (GIE) Bokh Khalat in order to better organize the cultivation and sale of fruits and vegetables. In recent years both mango and papaya plants have been planted and are now coming into fruition. In order to make the mangoes last longer, the women need a way to preserve them. By installing a tunnel dryer, you can let the sun dry the fruits and thus preserve them. The dried fruits can be sold on both the Senegalese and European markets and help women earn an income and enable their children to go to school.
