How does my public appearance appear? Climate justice actions

The music industry in harmony with the environment

In this workshop with Mia Heresch, Lilou and Raquel from Future Fashion, musicians will learn how they can act in a more environmentally friendly way to reduce their ecological footprint and contribute to climate protection. The focus here is on the external impact that I have as a musician through the way I style and the fashion I wear. No matter whether on stage, in a music video or on social media - the charisma of artists can be used excellently to ensure more climate justice through their personal style. How? You will find out in this workshop!

Kleiderradatsch Clothes Swap Spring Edition

“Clothes Radatsch – Spring Edition” of the Climate Taskforce on Saturday, March 09.03.2024th, XNUMX

The Climate Taskforce Nürtingen eV is organizing an event on sustainable textile consumption on March 09.03.2024th, 11 from 00:15 a.m. to 00:12 p.m. Location: Future.Box of the HfWU (Rooms of Future Reasons – ZUG), Hechinger Straße XNUMX, Nürtingen.

Recycling - upcycling - 2nd hand: less is more: items of clothing can be exchanged and taken with you during the entire time (please bring a maximum of 5 items of clothing). There is also a DIY sewing island with professional instructions for repairing and upcycling textiles you bring with you. In keeping with the season, we also offer the opportunity to exchange spring decorations and plants. A special highlight is the fashion show at 12:00 p.m. We show outfits from the Nürtingen suppliers Secontique and Weltladen. There will also be a lecture at 13 p.m. by Dirk Funck, Professor of Trade and Consumption at the HfWU, on the question “Sustainable Fashion – What can consumers do?”

Your physical well-being is also taken care of: there is fair coffee and tea, soft drinks, pretzels and all sorts of home-baked things.
Cake donations are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you!

Our Future Fashion Tour is more than just a walk through Ludwigsburg. Rather, it's about creating awareness and taking responsibility for our clothing choices. On our tour you will learn more about the grievances in the textile and fashion industry and we will show you concrete solutions for sustainable fashion consumption. You'll be surprised at how many ways there are to dress sustainably! Find out what you should pay attention to in the future to make your wardrobe even more sustainable. Ready for the next step? Then be there.

Parallel to the exhibition “Greenwash Generation” (textile installation Benjamin Von Wong) at the Kunstverein Ludwigsburg, a clothes swap party will take place this Saturday afternoon.

How it works

  • 1. Browse through the wardrobe and select items of clothing that are in good condition and washed (including shoes and accessories, but please no underwear and swimwear).
  • 2. Bring and hand in the clothes.
  • 3. Choose new favorite pieces.
  • 4. Have a great day at the exhibition and then go home happy with new, old parts.
