Aktion Eine Welt is a non-profit organization that aims to support partnership projects in the so-called Third World. The support is not just limited to fundraising events. In addition, we also seek larger donations in kind or money for our projects from government and church bodies, but also from companies. The association was created out of the experience that individuals who want to get involved privately in development aid often face insurmountable challenges see obstacles presented. Our exiled member Dr. Anastase Kimonyo made when he tried to provide concrete help for the people in his home country after the massacres of 1994. The current focus of our work in Rwanda can also be traced back to his personal commitment. It was only through the association's mediating activities that his projects could be realized.
