Fair trade proved to be a good and effective way to help the disadvantaged. But it is not enough to just sell products. With information work, such as lectures, projects at Tuttlingen schools and events, also in collaboration with VHS, city libraries and churches, we try to change the consciousness of the local population and thereby improve relations with the “Third World” on the basis of peace, justice and to promote independent development.
