We see our mission, in the spirit of our order's founders Vinzenz von Paul and Luise von Marillac, as support and accompaniment for people who, for a variety of reasons, cannot overcome the challenges of their lives alone - regardless of which country they live in and which culture they come from. The sisters in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Germany are primarily involved in the areas of health, education and upbringing. The community in Untermarchtal is in close contact with the sisters in Tanzania and Ethiopia. It's about more than organizational and financial support. It's about exchange between communities and cultures and about encounters and dialogue. This exchange is also promoted as part of a voluntary service.
