The Baden-Württemberg DRK regional association is a member of the German Red Cross and, on behalf of the federal association, carries out the tasks arising from the Geneva Red Cross Conventions and the resolutions of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Conferences. One of the essential tasks is to help the victims of emergency situations. The focus of development cooperation is on basic health care measures in Peru and emergency response in China.
