EVANGELICAL MISSION WORK IN SOUTHWEST GERMANY

The EMS is a model of ecumenical community and cooperation between Christians in Europe, Africa and Asia. The EMS office in Stuttgart, Vogelsangstrasse 62, is the common instrument for the coordination, initiation and support of joint programs and tasks. These core tasks include: - the coordination, support and advice of direct partnerships - the exchange and placement of ecumenical employees and Employees in long-term assignments (usually five-year contracts) - short assignments (six to twelve months) in the EMS volunteer program - international consultations and ecumenical team visits - information and publications about partner churches and the relevant countries and regions - seminars and conferences on topics of ecumenical-missionary learning - collaboration in actions and campaigns on issues of justice and human rights - financial support for projects and programs in partner churches (e.g. in the areas of health, schools, vocational training, theological training, women's work, human rights)
