Because of the unfair distribution of life chances, the KAB advocates a global policy with the vision of an integral development of the “One World” in the sense of a universal community of responsibility, the basis of which is human dignity. In the context of the globalization of the capitalist economy, which threatens to disrupt the social fabric of societies, the KAB strives to make workers worldwide equal partners. The KAB consistently sees itself as:
– “Movement of Solidarity with the Poor”
– co-sponsor of the “One World” movement,
– International movement organizing counterpower to achieve justice and peace for all.
The KAB's global emergency work, participation in the “Clean Clothing” campaign and in networks against unjust international agreements are just some of the KAB's areas of action for justice.
Our diocesan association is particularly committed to donations and campaign proceeds in the partner countries Uganda and Kenya. Over €75 annually supports self-help projects initiated by the KAB in these two countries.
KAB will continue to be a reliable partner for international employees in the future.
