The association looks after children and adolescents and young adults with various disabilities in its center in the Karatu district, Tanzania. The offer includes individual help (operations, aids, prostheses, wheelchairs and therapies (physio), training. A small school and workshop is integrated into the center. Our goal is to promote the young people in their strengths and thereby enable them to lead a self-determined life . Help for self-help! It is important to us that they have the opportunity to be included in society. Since people with disabilities in Tanzania are still seen as “God's punishment” and are kept hidden. That's why another goal is to educate the population .
